Fantasy was the first single from Mariah's 6th album, "Daydream". It has been released in advance, due to public demand. for this reason the the single's sleeve has been taken from the Daydream's booklet. Fantasy was a colossal success! It entered directly at #1 making Mariah the first female artist to accomplish this! Fantasy contains a sample of Genius of Love, song by Tom tom Club. The remix version feature Ol Dirty Barstard. When Mariah asked ODB to join this project, columbia staff couldn't believe it! they throught she was crazy! But this remix had big success! The video of this song has been directed by Mariah. It was the first time for her!
