28 Settembre 01 A TRIBUTE TO HEROES.. SARA' UN CD !!!

->Pare proprio che del concerto benefico AMERICA: A TRIBUTE TO HEROES sarà fatto un album.. il quesito ora è: Verrà inserita un'altra versione di HERO, o sarà inserita la versione del concerto? 

-> X ora si sa che oltre ai partecipanti alla serata benefica (Bruce Springsteen, Celine Dion, the Dixie Chicks, U2, Sheryl Crow, Billy Joel, Tom Petty, Paul Simon, Neil Young, Eddie Vedder, Wyclef Jean, Stevie Wonder e Sting ) erano stati invitati a partecipare molti altri cantanti.. tra cui MICHAEL JACKSON.. ma per ovvi motivi di tempo nn potevano prender parte tutti allo show live.. e nn è da escludere che anche questi "esclusi" possano essere inseriti nel CD (pare anche che MJ stia lavorando su una nuova canzone intitolata "What More Can I Give" e scritta proprio x il Tribute to Heroes CD)

26 Settembre 01 NEVER TOO FAR #1  a TRL + USCITA SINGOLO !!!

-> A pochi giorni all'uscita del singolo in italia il relativo video domina la classifica di TRL superando di oltre 10.000  voti i FIVE.. ma ancora nn basta! bisogna che il NTF rimanga sovrano della classifica! CLICCATE QUI X VOTARE e rendere Mariah ancora #1 nella puntata di Venerdì prossimo.. 

-> Oramai è ufficiale.. NEVER TOO FAR sarà disponibile in vendita a partire da Venerdì 28, finora sia la tracklist che la copertina sono un mistero. x Internet ne girano parecchie versioni.. staremo a vedere! si sa che dovrebbe contenere la Track 5. di GLITTER ovvero DON'T STOP.. ma è anche vero che si parlava di questo Doppio singolo solo per l'UK.. staremo a vedere! l'importante è sostenere Mariah acquistando il cd Venerdì 28! 

25 Settembre 01 NEVER TOO FAR DEBUTTA 2° a TRL !!!

-> Grazie ai migliaia di CLICK di Domenica siamo riusciti a far debuttare NEVER TOO FAR direttamente al secondo posto della chart! possiamo ritenerci soddisfatti.. Domani Mariah sarà prima.. ma nn fermiamoci i voti di oggi vanno quindi a Mercoledì (infatti x la classifica in diretta di TRL si utilizzano i voti pervenuti entro la mattina precedente) mi raccomando votate votate e votate ancora!!  CLICCA QUI X VOTARE

23 Settembre 01 NEW MESSAGE FROM MARIAH!!!

-> Hey Lambs.. Vi sto chiamando x ringraziarvi tutti x aver contribuito al telethon ieri perchè so che noi abbiam raccolto davvero molto .. con questo voglio ringraziare tanto anche i fans che sono venuti alla prima di GLITTER l'altra notte. è stato molto divertente e ho partecipato alla prima anche io con alcuni amici ed è stato molto divertente. Allora, grazie tante ancora, vi chiamerò molto presto.. e vi parlerò ancora!!! ciao!!  

Hey Lambs, I'm just calling to say thank you so much to everybody that contributed in the um telethon yesterday cuz I know we did really really well umm with that so thank you so much and I also wanna say thank you to the fans that came out for the little screening we had for "Glitter" the other night., that was a lot of fun aaaannnnddd I snuck into the movie last night to check it out with some freinds and that was fun. So ummm, thank you much I'm gonna be calling in soon & um I'll talk to you again buh bye.

2° / 21 Settembre 01  Un deludente TRIBUTE TO HEROES

-> Povera Mariah!!! era proprio senza voce.. nn avevo mai visto un'interpretazione così sofferta.. una brutta stecca a metà canzone.. (gira la testa di scatto verso sx e sta zitta).. inutili gli allontanamenti del microfono e la disperata ricerca di un aiuto da parte delle coriste (delle vere incapaci).. c'è da dire che il pezzo iniziale è stato fenomenale.. ma dalla seconda strofa è andata peggiorando.. sarà stata l'emozione??? una cosa è certa.. nn riuscire a portare a termine HERO nn è un buon segno.. io continuo a sperare che si riprenda.. tanto sperare nn costa niente!!!

Da segnalare è il bellissimo controcanto nella canzone finale AMERICA.. stupendi gli acutini e il fraseggio..  (al piu presto in MP3 nella sezione Mp3 live) Quella si che era la MARIAH che conosco io!! mi raccomando lasciate i vostri commenti sul FORUM

-> Stasera Mariah parteciperà al concerto benefico in favore delle vittime della strage USA dello scorso 11 Settembre.. il concerto sarà trasmesso anche da RAIDUE e CANALE 5 in diretta a partire dalle ore 03:00.. 

-> Proprio in questo Week-end GLITTER esce nei cinema USA. speriamo riesca a farsi notare nel panorama cinematografico! riuscirà a battere i giganti avversari??? (io lo spero tanto!!)

-> Ultimamente stanno uscendo tantissime news false riguardo la salute di Mariah.. e dopo le scemenze riguardanti la sua ossessione x Jennifer-Thief-Lopez ecco cosa scrivono i giornali americani (tratto da Rockol ) 

Secondo lo staff medico dell’UCLA Medical Center, le condizioni di salute di Mariah Carey sarebbero in condizioni davvero critiche. Un primario della clinica universitaria dove la cantante è ricoverata ha definito la paziente “soggetta a violentissime crisi maniaco-depressive”; in particolare pare che Mariah sia convinta di poter diventare invisibile e di poter interloquire, tramite un “pianoforte stregato”, nientemeno che con Marilyn Monroe.
La cantante ha poi accusato il suo ex marito Tommy Mottola e Jennifer Lopez di cospirare alle sue spalle per rovinarle la vita. “Le sue condizioni non sono disperate, ma ha bisogno di un ricovero molto lungo per ritrovare la sanità mentale”, ha commentato lo staff medico che ha in cura la Carey

Pare che sia proprio ossessionata da Jennifer Lopez..  qui di seguito ho riportato una frase tratta da un giornale americano: TABLOID

Sources say tragic Carey, 31, is convinced that J. Lo is in league with Carey’s ex-husband, Tommy Mottola- Lopez’s boss at Sony Records. She believes that they are involved in an evil conspiracy to do all they can to destroy her career. 

Pare che Mariah sia convinta che J LO sia daccordo con Tommy Mottola (attuale boss della Lopez) e Mariah Crede che i due stiano cospirando alle sue spalle x distruggerle la carriera.. 

nn so che pensare! Mi sa che Mariah ultimamente è un tantino egocentrica.. sarà colpa dello show business! di certo Tommy e Jennifer han meglio da fare che tentare di distruggere Mariah (anche perchè nn avrebbe senso.. come si puo distruggere un personaggio come Mariah??? i suoi fans nn l'abbandoneranno mai!) 

14 Settembre 01 - LISTENING PARTY!!

-> Per pubblicizzare il nuovo album sono stati organizzati dei LISTENING PARTY in giro x l'america.. purtroppo sono stati tutti posticipati di una settimana a causa degli orrendi episodi accaduti lo scorso 11 Settembre..  

Vorrei proprio sapere cosa pensa Mariah di questo conflitto.. sicuramente ci dirà qualcosa nel suo prossimo messaggio.. 

7 Settembre 01 - GLITTER!!!!

-> Finalmente è uscito!! dopo settimane di ritardi.. Glitter, l'ultima fatica della voce piu bella del mondo, è nei negozi!!! Mi sono precipitato a comprarlo nn appena sono uscito da scuola (ebbene si.. oggi era il mio primo giorno ).

Devo dire che è un album stupendo.. solo una cosa nn capisco.. perchè IF WE e DON'T STOP nn hanno il testo nel libricino????? mistero.. Il libricino è in fatto con una carta plastificata lucente (fatto di proposito o è un caso???) 

Ho chiesto al mio amico negoziante quanti ne aveva venduti in mattinata.. mi ha detto all'incirca una 30ina.. beh speriamo si faccia notare in classifica!!!! 

7 Settembre 01 - NUOVO RICOVERO

Stressed-out Mariah Carey is battling the blues again.
The troubled singer, recovering from a nervous breakdown, suffered a relapse and is a patient in a Los Angeles hospital, sources told the Daily News yesterday.
"She has had an emotional setback," said one industry source in California.
Carey Tales: It might be awhile before Mariah tells her story to 20/20's Barbara Walters.
Carey's spokeswoman, Cindi Berger, issued a terse "no comment" when asked whether the singer — whose breakdown in July put her into the Silver Hill rehab in New Canaan, Conn. — had been hospitalized again.
But other sources told The News that she was admitted Tuesday to UCLA Medical Center — which has a large psychiatric wing.
The hospitalization followed what had appeared to be a restful, pre-Labor Day week at the exclusive Bacara resort in Santa Barbara.
Reached by The News yesterday afternoon, a music source said Carey "may have tried to go back to work too soon."
"She had been meeting with executives at Virgin Records, and apparently she simply wasn't ready for that," the source said.
Berger confirmed that Carey postponed her Sept. 14 appearance on "The Tonight Show," where the sexy siren had been expected to promote "Glitter" — her first foray into films.
A day earlier, it was announced that Carey was postponing a much-hyped interview with Barbara Walters due to air next Wednesday on ABC's newsmagazine, "20/20."
"She needs more time to rest," Berger said in a statement.
UCLA officials would not confirm last night that Carey is a patient there. "Patient records at UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital are confidential," said Dan Page, a spokesman.
Carey hasn't spoken publicly since Aug. 26, when she left a voice message on her Web site expressing sadness for the death of R&B singer Aaliyah, who was killed in a plane crash in the Bahamas.
"Hey, like I said in my earlier message, life is really, really precious," Carey said. "I just want to send out my deepest sympathy and love to Aaliyah and her family. And, um, that's the most important thing — life and appreciating it. Buh-bye."
The Grammy Award-winning singer recently spent "probably a week or more" at Bacara, where she was "pampered and underwent health treatments," sources said.
While there, Carey signed autographs for kids and was seen eating breakfast at one of the spa's cafes — shadowed by her ever-present detail of beefy bodyguards.
"She was smiling and really outgoing," the source said. "She was in a pair of very high heels, and who goes to breakfast in high heels?"
After more than a dozen No. 1 singles, Carey began cracking up after her single "Loverboy" floundered on the charts and she found herself losing fans to rivals like Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears.
She capped several weeks of erratic behavior by going on a plate-smashing tear July 25. Carey's mother, Patricia Carey, made a frantic 911 call for help from her house in Westchester County. The 31-year-old singer was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, then transferred to the Connecticut facility.
A source who said he saw Carey that night told The News she had bandages on both wrists and hands in the emergency room. But Carey's crew marshaled a flurry of denials and even tracked down the ambulance driver, who also insisted that the singer had not tried to commit suicide.
She was released Aug. 7 after two weeks of treatment for what her handlers called an "emotional and physical breakdown."
Two days later, Virgin Records delayed the release of Carey's new album, "Glitter," for three weeks. The album is also the soundtrack for the movie, which was supposed to debut this week. The film has been pushed back to Sept. 21.
